Developed in 1995 by Grand Master J. George Bibb and implemented in 1996, the Friend To Friend Program gave Master Masons in Kentucky a “brochure, a new pin and a petition.” The program was launched to help increase membership under Grand Master L. C. Harper.

The first pins were issued in 1996, the second in March 1997, the third in March 1998. The Grand Lodge issued a video to explain the program and Masonry to non-members. “Bring a Friend Nights” were held across the state. The program lasted five years and pins were produced for each year through 2000.
